Who is this training for: Copywriters, social media specialists, people responsible for maintaining social media profiles, marketers.
Training objective: You will learn how to create and deliver digitally accessible content in social media.
Duration: 8 clock hours, consisting of 3 modules lasting 2-3 hours each.

You will see what a person with disabilities experiences when interacting with the social media profiles you run.
You will learn why and how to take care of the accessibility of social media channels.
You will learn examples of good and bad practices and tools supporting the creation and publication of accessible content.
We will show you how to create accessible content for the most popular platforms.

What will you learn?
You will put the acquired knowledge into practice. We will go together through real accessibility problems of social media and use tools:
You will discover accessibility problems present in your social media channels.
You will learn about the most popular assistive technologies used by people with disabilities.
You will learn the point of view of a person with a disability - the recipient of your content.
You will conduct accessibility tests of your profiles and identify problems.
You will try out the most popular tools used by authors of accessible content.
You will practice creating alternative texts for graphics and editing posts.
We will together create and publish accessible content on your channels.

What will you receive?
You will receive a personalized certificate confirming your participation in the training.
We will evaluate your content published on social media and provide you with feedback.

We will help you plan and organize training sessions for your team.
Materials based on the content you have selected - examples, homework, quiz to check your knowledge, access to a site where you can practice accessibility testing.
Opinions of digital accessibility experts on the content published on social media and suggestions for fixing problems that we detect during the training stage.

Meet our trainers

Jędrzej Barancewicz
Social media manager with experience in creating marketing content for local and international markets. Responsible for all Accens social media channels – Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X.

Adrian Wyka
Since 2020, he has been educating, consulting and testing in the area of digital, infrastructural and information and communication accessibility. Over 10 years of experience in the field of culture for people with disabilities. An experienced user of technologies and solutions that make everyday life easier for blind people.

Regina Mynarska
An audio description specialist, she has descriptions of several hundred objects, theatre plays and films for major cultural institutions in her portfolio. She conducts training and academic courses on equality language, rules for interacting with people with disabilities, and audio description.
